A massive job fair is being held today, Thursday, for people looking to work at Toronto Pearson Airport in Mississauga.
Hundreds or more job seekers are expected to attend the job fair on February 22, which runs from 10 AM to 2 PM, at the Toronto Conference Centre (Dixon Rd. in Etobicoke 650) near Pearson.
Pearson officials said in a social media post today: “From baggage handlers to security and from customer service to food and beverage services, Pearson offers opportunities for purposeful career growth.”
Organizers indicate that for those qualified, more senior career opportunities may also be available at the job fair.
Pearson Airport held two major job fairs last year as air travel intensified following the lifting of COVID-19 restrictions and lockdowns that were in place inside and outside the country from 2020 to 2022.
Through the Toronto Pearson Jobs Fair, organizers aim to fill many positions across a variety of fields at Canada’s largest and busiest airport.
In January 2023, the airport held a job fair featuring 32 employers, and it also hosted an event last October with 25 employers.
