An amber alert has been issued for a three-year-old child whom the police say has been kidnapped and was last seen at the Vancouver Children's Hospital.
Vancouver Police are seeking help in locating Phaivanh Correia-Chanthabouala, aged three, who was last seen at the British Columbia Children's Hospital Monday night.
The police described the boy as Asian, two feet tall, with black hair, wearing gray pants, a blue shirt, and red shoes.
The suspect in the kidnapping, Jenny Chanthaboula, is described as a 30-year-old Asian woman, five feet two inches tall, about 100 pounds, with long black braided hair and a tattoo on her right arm. Police say she was wearing a black jacket, a black hat, glasses, gray sweatpants, a striped bag, and brown UGG shoes.
The police ask people not to approach the suspect and to immediately call 911 if she is seen.
