Joe Biden issues a statement honoring the former Canadian Prime Minister

U.S. President Joe Biden issued a statement honoring former Canadian Prime Minister Brian Mulroney, who passed away on Thursday.

The statement read: I got to know the Prime Minister when I was working on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee."

He continued: "I witnessed firsthand his commitment to the friendship between our two countries, as well as his enduring love for Canada and its people"
