Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed that Hamas has presented "demands we will not accept" regarding the release of hostages in the Gaza Strip.

Netanyahu explained that the conditions "must be similar to the previous agreement," which witnessed the exchange of a percentage of hostages for Palestinian prisoners during the November truce, according to what was reported by the Likud party, which he leads.

Regional and international forces are working to draft an agreement to stop the war in Gaza for weeks and to carry out a deal to exchange hostages with Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons.

The deal, which is being talked about in the media, includes the release of children, women, the elderly, and injured Israelis held by Hamas, in exchange for releasing large numbers of Palestinian prisoners and delivering aid.

Last Wednesday, Netanyahu said that a "real effort" is being made to return the hostages held in Gaza, but he pointed out that it is too early to talk about how such a step would be implemented.

Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich threatened to dismantle the government and withdraw from it if a final ceasefire in the Gaza Strip is reached.

Ben-Gvir said that "the end of the war means the end of the government," following talks about the imminent conclusion of an agreement to extend the ceasefire in exchange for releasing more hostages every day.

On the other hand, Netanyahu said today, Monday, addressing the commanders and soldiers of Battalion 8104, at the Armored Corps base in Latrun:

I told your commanders that a few days ago I received a cap with two words written on it: "Complete Victory." It is the summary of our policy which entails the complete victory over Hamas.

Complete victory is necessary as it guarantees Israel's security and constitutes the primary way through which we can ensure the conclusion of more historic peace agreements knocking on our doors.

Complete victory will deal the final blow to the axis of evil that includes Iran, Hezbollah, and the Houthis

Therefore, complete victory is indispensable, and just imagine what would happen if complete victory is not achieved, where the evacuated residents will not return, and the next massacre will be just a matter of time, and Iran, Hezbollah, and others will roam here to devastate the Middle East.

We are on our way to achieving complete victory, and I tell you that we are committed to that and will not abandon it.

We will not end this war without achieving this goal of complete victory, which will restore security to both the southern and northern regions.
