The number of job vacancies did not change significantly in the other three provinces.

Statistics Canada said there was an average of 1.1 unemployed persons for every job vacancy in Canada in the second quarter of 2022, compared to 1.3 unemployed persons in the first quarter of the same year and 2.3 unemployed persons in the second quarter of 2021.
