China's exports recorded accelerated growth during the first two months of this year.
Data from the Chinese Customs Administration issued today, Thursday, showed that exports grew by 7.1% annually during the past two months, while the expected growth was 2.3% after a growth of 2.3% last December.
At the same time, imports increased by 3.5% in the past two months, while analysts expected them to grow at a rate of 1.5% annually, after growing by 0.2% in the previous month.
The total trade surplus of China during January and February reached 125.16 billion dollars, while analysts expected a surplus of 103.7 billion dollars.
