British Foreign Secretary David Cameron intends to visit Thailand tomorrow, Wednesday; to sign an agreement aimed at elevating bilateral relations between the two countries to a "strategic partnership," according to the Thai government spokesman Chai Wasarunki.
Bloomberg News Agency reported today, Tuesday, quoting Chai as saying that the agreement will make the United Kingdom the first country in Europe to sign such a partnership with Thailand.
Chai explained in a statement that the agreement will enhance cooperation between the two countries in various fields, including trade, investment, security, defense, climate change, and the green economy.
It is worth mentioning that Thailand had signed a comprehensive partnership and cooperation agreement with the European Union in December 2022.
