The Lebanese "Hezbollah" announced today, Monday, that it targeted 4 locations of the Israeli army in the eastern and western sectors of southern Lebanon.

Hezbollah stated in several of its statements that its elements carried out yesterday, Sunday, "in the eastern sector of southern Lebanon, an aerial attack with a swarm of kamikaze drones on the command headquarters of the 91st Division established in Eilat, targeting the places where its officers and soldiers reside with confirmed casualties," according to the Russian news agency Sputnik.

It added that they "shelled the deployment of Israeli soldiers around the Haddab Yarin site with rocket weapons, and another deployment around the Rweisat Al-Alam site in the occupied Kafr Shuba hills with a Burkan missile, and shelled the Al-Ramtha site in the Kafr Shuba hills with rocket weapons and hit it directly."

The statement indicated that the Israeli army shelled "with heavy artillery 14 towns in southern Lebanon, where Israeli warplanes targeted in the Marja'iyoun district of southern Lebanon the towns of Sdanah-Bain Kfar Hamam and Kafr Shuba, Hama Rashaya Al-Fakhar, Mays Al-Jabal, Hula, Bani Hayan, Al-Khiam, Blida, and in the Bint Jbeil district, shelled the towns of Ramiyah, Aita Al-Shab, and in the Tyre district, they shelled the town of Yarin.

This comes as the area along the Israeli-Lebanese border has witnessed escalating tension since the start of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip last October, with the Israeli army and fighters from Lebanese Hezbollah exchanging fire daily at each other's positions in the areas along the border.
