American company Google announced on Friday the dismissal of one of its employees due to his protest against Israel at a technology event in New York City.
A company statement mentioned that one of its engineers interrupted his colleague during his presentation at a technology event sponsored by the company last Monday.
The statement said: "Regardless of the issue, this behavior is unacceptable and the employee was terminated for violating our policies," according to Anadolu Agency.
It is noteworthy that one of Google's engineers interrupted a speech given by an Israeli director at the company by saying: "I refuse to produce technology that would enable genocide and apartheid."
