The German Ministry of the Interior announced that the government is working on concluding migration agreements with at least 6 countries to facilitate the deportation of illegal migrants.
The ministry listed the names of these countries as: "Georgia, Moldova, Kenya, Colombia, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan." It then continued that the agreements will simplify the procedures for returning asylum seekers, who have been denied that in Germany, to their home countries.
Recently, Germany has actively discussed the possibility of reducing migration flows, as German Interior Minister Nancy Faeser said last week that Germany is strengthening border controls with Poland and the Czech Republic to combat the smuggling of migrants into its territory.
