Drivers fueling up in Vancouver may find prices at the pumps cheaper on Thursday than they have been in recent weeks.
Gasoline prices dropped by about six cents between Wednesday and Thursday to reach 187.9 at many stations in the area.
Some posted prices even lower, with at least one station in North Coquitlam listing regular gas at 184.9.
Prices are expected to drop again before the long weekend, reaching 186.9 at many stations, according to the Gas Price Forecast website.
Prices last broke a record on June 6, reaching 236.9. While they have since fallen, the cost has generally remained above 190 in recent weeks.
