After a day of a devastating fire that affected Old Marina Restaurant in Puslinch, Ontario, fire crews remained at the scene on Sunday, spraying water on the burning historic building's ruins.

Tom Mulvey, chief of the Puslinch Fire Department, said: It is still very dangerous to enter and investigate how the fire started, although he believes it originated in the basement. He also said the building will have to be completely demolished.

He added: "There is a large amount of debris that fell in the basement, including the steel ceiling, which makes it very difficult for us to access the main source of the fire, so we continue to search for hot spots." The crew was first called to the fire around 12:45 PM Saturday.

The building is considered a total loss. The Old Marina Restaurant and Gift House building was constructed in 1993. It was destroyed in a fire in 2005 before reopening again in 2007. Previously, the premises housed a dance hall and a hotel.
