The Eid al-Fitr date in Canada 2024 is considered one of the dates eagerly awaited by all Muslims in the country, who look forward to this day to celebrate Eid al-Fitr Mubarak with relatives and family.
Eid al-Fitr is not a national official holiday in Canada; however, many Islamic companies and organizations may change their working hours.
According to the Fiqh Council of North America (FCNA) and the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), Eid al-Fitr 1445/2024 in Canada is expected to fall on April 10, 2024.
This day is also determined precisely by the legitimate sighting of the crescent moon conducted by official Sharia authorities around the world.
It is worth mentioning that, according to the 2011 National Household Survey in Canada, there were 1,053,945 Muslims in Canada, or about 3.2% of the population.
