The French authorities, today Wednesday, evacuated the "Palace of Versailles," one of the most important famous historical landmarks in France, for security reasons, after a bomb threat.
The palace administration wrote on the "X/Twitter" platform: For security reasons, the authorities are evacuating visitors and the palace will reopen once inspection procedures are completed.
About 2000 people were forced to leave the palace due to a "bomb threat," according to a police source. Since mid-October, the palace has been targeted by many false bomb alerts and has closed its doors to visitors several times. Within eight days, the archaeological site faced seven false alarms, which are punishable by two years in prison and a fine of 30,000 euros.
