A train collided with debris on the tracks near Agassiz in British Columbia, causing a fuel leak and forcing all passengers to disembark according to VIA Rail.
The accident occurred around 6:15 PM on Friday on a train that was scheduled to travel from Vancouver to Toronto.
A statement sent by the company via email said: The collision caused damage to the engine and some train cars.
The statement also added: "None of the 121 passengers or crew members on board were injured in the accident, but the damage caused a fuel leak, and the train was unable to proceed."
According to VIA Rail, the accident site was secured, and all passengers were transported by bus to Vancouver
Jasperg Kamloopsg, and the police are investigating the accident.
