The Vice President of the European Commission Valdis Dombrovskis said that the European Union intends to present a negotiating framework for talks on Ukraine's accession to the Union next week, as the war-torn country seeks to accelerate its accession to the European Union.
Bloomberg News Agency quoted Dombrovskis as saying, at a press conference today, Friday, with Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal in Kyiv, that the European Commission will recommend member states to proceed with adopting the framework once Ukraine meets pending conditions. He added, "There is already very good progress, so this should not lead to any significant delay."
Bloomberg agency said the negotiating framework sets guidelines and principles for accession negotiations and will be presented by the European Council at the start of the talks
