Elections and ambition... Be yourselves to exercise a legitimate right!

Elections and ambition... Be yourselves to exercise a legitimate right!

I can summarize the concept of ambition as life itself, and anyone who does not possess the trait of ambition is practically a rigid person who lacks the vision to use human rights and deep insight. Therefore, ambition is the path to salvation for a person to achieve their self and to launch into the realm of thought, creativity, and participation in building.
But ambition is also defined linguistically as elevation, where it is said that a person's gaze is "tamah," meaning it rises upwards, and everything that is elevated is ambitious. In the technical meaning of ambition, there are many definitions of this term, where ambition is defined as the goal that a certain person wants to achieve during their life and on all levels. Ambition can also be defined as the level that a person wants to reach in their life, through which they accomplish their daily tasks and achieve their strategic goals. It must be noted that ambition varies among individuals in terms of the goals they seek to achieve, as well as the pressures and difficulties they may face to reach their personal and societal objectives.
Here, ambition can also be divided into multiple types based on the individual's capabilities and capacities or what the society they seek to achieve holds of potentials. Among the types of ambition are the following:
First: Social ambition, which is the type related to the ambitions of groups and peoples. Advanced peoples differ in their ambitions from poor peoples. Social ambition may also refer to the ambition of a certain group or a certain generation within the same society.
Second: Individual ambition, which relates only to a specific person. Individual ambition differs among people according to their ages, desires, ways of thinking, or even their different life fields. Some people have economic ambitions; others have political, professional, sports, psychological ambitions, or many other things that people aspire to and strive to achieve.
Therefore, I find that ambition is a legitimate right for every individual in society who works hard and struggles to achieve the self. Since we are in an election stage, it is natural to see many new faces with each election round, as these people possess the spirit of initiative, which is the most important element of ambition that they have drawn for themselves regardless of what knowledge components and requirements for achieving this ambition they possess.
However, on the other hand, there are those who aspire to crush others and replace them by belittling what they achieve or seek to achieve, in order to divert others' efforts and energies to fulfill their ambitions.
These people have become numerous and are the most dangerous when it comes to dealing with ambitious aspirants, as they legitimize their vision through evil actions based on cheating and deceiving others by showing what is not in them, thus becoming the black glasses on people's eyes that hide their ugliness and improper actions and only show the beautiful side they claim.
Therefore, in elections, we cannot say this is merely ambition, but this matter must be linked to a comprehensive and clear ethical vision, not through distorted ways and deception hidden behind vain promises and flowery words.
Elections must be committed to credibility, and selection must be linked to a state of awareness, not swayed by an emotional framework driven by aspirants with self-interest. Instead, there must be appreciation and awareness to guide and direct the voter within a conscious vision that preserves the community's interests and does not serve individual interests.
Therefore, I find those who call to support this side or that at the expense of the general position, which should be characterized by flexibility, opening channels for constructive dialogue, and harnessing the situation to serve the permanent general interest rather than the temporary.
For this reason, I find that anyone who opposes a particular side because of its declared stances without trying to change or influence them must bear the responsibility of this position as an individual, not as an ambitious society seeking to live in safety, security, and peace, and engaged in a comprehensive building process under the unity of a permanent society.
Ambition, being a legitimate right, must be a motive and incentive to filter out efficiencies participating in the building process and integrated in all societal, cultural, and political components, to serve the community's interests rather than establishing a state of future collision or exclusion.
Ambition, as a legitimate right, must be built on comprehensive and broad scientific foundations, a distant and insightful future vision, and a flexible strategy that establishes strong generations capable of contributing to decision-making and participating in the building process, not limited by a narrow and restricted view serving temporary personal agendas.
Ambition, being a legitimate right, lies in how to rally around those who have the competence and abilities qualifying them to be leaders in society, with their compass directed to serve the people of their community and be able to listen to them and honestly convey their voice to decision-makers.
Finally, I find no words more than what I have said except two words whose concepts scatter in the realm of ethics and sincerity of intentions and go far to address minds and say: Let us be among the ambitious, not among the grumbling followers who scatter their efforts here and there so the result is lost without benefit or impact. Be those who aspire to achieve a better future for you and your children.. and be worthy of responsibility, for your voice is a trust!
