In a tweet this morning Sunday, Canadian Foreign Minister Mélanie Joly condemned the assault on Canadian journalists and said, "I am appalled to see Canadian journalists assaulted, harassed, intimidated and prevented from doing their jobs."
Adding, "This is unacceptable."
Clarifying, "Journalists are important to our democracy and must be free and safe to do their work."
