The Russian Investigative Committee says that the suspects in the terrorist attack were arrested in Bryansk province near the Ukrainian border.
On the other hand, the Russian security service announced that the suspects in the attack planned to cross the border and were in contact with persons on the Ukrainian side.
The death toll from the attack on a concert hall in the suburbs of Moscow has risen to 93, while the authorities announced on Saturday, March 26, 2024, the arrest of 11 people, including 4 suspects directly involved, after the Islamic State group claimed responsibility for the incident which received international condemnations.
The Russian Investigative Committee regarding the attack on the concert hall said that experts continue their work at the site, confirming the death of more than 93 people, and that "the number of victims may rise".
According to the Russian "TASS" agency, the Federal Security Service reported the arrest of 11 people, 4 of whom are directly involved in the attack on the concert hall in the suburbs of Moscow.
Meanwhile, Alexander Khinshtein, a member of the Russian State Duma, said on "Telegram" that two of the suspects involved in the attack on the concert hall were arrested in the Bryansk region of Russia after a car chase, noting that other suspects fled on foot to a nearby forest.

In turn, the Islamic State in a statement published on "Telegram", said that its fighters "attacked a large gathering in the suburbs of the Russian capital Moscow," adding that the fighters "retreated safely to their bases".
Aliyev also sent a condolence telegram to his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, according to a statement from the Azerbaijani presidency.
The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry also condemned the attack, in a post on the "X" platform, offering condolences to Russia’s government and people, wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.
For its part, Iran expressed its condemnation of the terrorist attack in Moscow, through its Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian who offered condolences to the Russian people and government.
He added in a post on the "X" platform, that "a joint and effective war against terrorism requires serious and non-discriminatory measures by the international community".
Japan, for its part, strongly condemned the terrorist attack on the concert hall in Moscow.
Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maki Kobayashi said in a statement that "Japan strongly condemns the armed attack that took place in a shopping center in Moscow, which resulted in casualties".
Kobayashi also pointed out that her country extends its sincere condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the attack.
Meanwhile, Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent a condolence telegram to his Russian counterpart on the victims of the terrorist attack targeting the concert hall in Moscow.
Hungary, the Czech Republic, and Austria also condemned the terrorist attack in Moscow, expressing solidarity with the victims’ families, according to a post by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, and separate statements from the Austrian and Czech Foreign Ministries.
It is noted that White House National Security Communications Advisor John Kirby described the attack as "horrific," but denied any "indications of Ukrainian involvement".
In this context, countries and international organizations have condemned the attack on the concert hall in Moscow, while Washington pointed out that Ukraine is not involved in it.
European Commission spokesperson Peter Stano said in a post on the "X" platform that the European Union "was shocked and horrified" by the news of the attack.
He added that the European Union "condemns any attack targeting civilians, and our hearts are with all the citizens affected by the attack in Russia".
Meanwhile, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev condemned the "horrific terrorist attack," offering condolences to the Russian people and the families of the victims, and wishing a speedy recovery to the wounded.
