Chinese authorities have reported that the death toll from the terrifying floods caused by heavy rains that fell on the capital Beijing last week has risen to 33 people.
At least 18 people are still missing.
The Doksuri typhoon swept through the Chinese capital before striking the northeastern province of Jilin.
China has deployed thousands of army and emergency personnel to the province, anticipating a second typhoon that may hit the same area.
