A Brazilian bodybuilder, described as the "Hulk" or the Brazilian "giant," died after injecting himself with muscle growth oil on his fifty-fifth birthday.
The famous Brazilian bodybuilder Valdir Segato apparently injected himself with an overdose of a muscle enlargement drug, inspired by the former bodybuilding champion, Hollywood actor, and former Governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger.
The 55-year-old Segato had been injecting himself with the drug "Synthol" for years, resulting in massive muscles, resembling greatly the hero in the "The Incredible Hulk" film series or the "Green Giant."
According to the British newspaper Daily Mail, Segato said in 2016, "They call me 'The Incredible Hulk' and 'Schwarzenegger' and I love that.. I have doubled my biceps but I still want to be bigger and bulkier."
According to the newspaper, in that year, Segato was warned that using more of the drug that enlarges muscles and makes them bigger could put him at risk of nerve damage and amputation, but the Brazilian giant made it clear that he likes to draw attention to himself, saying: "I have doubled my muscles, but I want more."
