Agencies: The disputes between the United States of America and China have moved from the ground to space, as it will be a field for technological confrontation at the time when China is keeping pace with the achievements made by the United States of America both on the ground and militarily in space and is achieving its own new accomplishments.

China invades space

For her part, Nina Armagno, Chief of Staff of the U.S. Space Force, said that China's rapid progress poses risks to American dominance in space, and analysts liken the race between Beijing and Washington to the militarization of space in a Cold War.

She pointed out that China has made progress in developing military space, including areas such as satellite communications and spacecraft that can be reused, allowing countries to rapidly expand their space programs.

China surpasses America in space

She mentioned that China might be able to surpass America and that the progress made by the country is extremely impressive and rapid, with Beijing making significant and swift progress in space recently, causing concern for Washington and other Western countries despite the historic decline in the space race dominated by the United States of America and Russia.

The Chinese Manned Space Agency stated that Beijing is launching a spacecraft to its space station in the latest mission to complete its manned orbital space station, which will be delivered within a week by the three astronauts who arrived there in early June.

The Chinese space station is expected to remain for at least 10 years in an important achievement in China’s ambitions and its effort to secure a foothold in low Earth orbit. China has sent into space a new satellite characterized by remote sensing.

China spends more on its space and military programs than Russia and Japan, totaling $8.4 billion, but this figure is considered very small compared to what the United States spends, amounting to $48 billion, whether for space or military programs, yet it exceeds twice the budget allocated by Russia for civilian space, which has been reduced to $3 billion.
