The Canadian police managed to arrest a Canadian citizen who threatened Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau with death via social media X.
The police stated in their statement that the Canadian citizen Paul Clariso, aged 30, faced charges regarding the threats he posted through his social media account.
The charges came during a security investigation by the National Security Rescue Team, concerning a direct threat from the accused to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and the security authorities indicated that any threats on social media
are taken seriously; as what is published has a significant impact on destabilizing security.
The investigations also indicated that the accused will appear before a Montreal court, and it was also stated that the accused is likely to face criminal charges that carry severe penalties.
