Agencies : The Canadian authorities announced a ban on the import of aluminum and steel from Russia, as part of Western sanctions.
The document related to amendments to the "Special Economic Measures" clause published on the Canadian government’s website stated: "It is prohibited for any person in Canada and any Canadian outside Canada to import or purchase from Russia, iron, steel, aluminum, and products made from them."
