Canada, Australia, and New Zealand today called for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza.

The three countries warned in a joint statement about the effects of the extensive military operation that Israel plans to carry out in the Palestinian city of Rafah.

According to the tripartite statement, the effects of an extensive military operation would be devastating on Palestinian civilians, expressing deep concern over indications of Israel planning a ground attack on Palestinian Rafah.
