In a press release, the York Regional Police said on May 12 at around 1:30 PM, officers received a report of a robbery at a pharmacy on Weston Road near Astona Boulevard.
The officers said that three suspected men entered the store to commit the robbery. The police also stated that one of the suspects was armed with a knife and ordered the employees to lie on the ground.
According to the police, the armed suspect demanded drugs under threat of the weapon and then fled the area in a dark-colored SUV before the officers arrived.
The security authorities are now seeking to identify the three suspected men, describing them as "one is six feet two inches tall, while the other two are five feet eight inches tall".
Anyone with information is asked to contact the police or the Stop Center.
