A veiled woman was assaulted by a racist person in the German capital, Berlin.
According to Anadolu Agency citing the newspaper "Tag Spiegel" on Sunday, the racist (37 years old) tore the hijab of a woman (39 years old) and assaulted her while she was eating at a restaurant located in the Weissensee area.
It was noted that the security authorities have launched a wide-ranging investigation into the incident.
Also, a man (52 years old) directed a racist insult from his home window towards two women in the Prenzlauer Berg area of Berlin.
The neighbors informed the police who went to the area of the incident and arrested the assailant, before releasing him after verifying his identity.
