A high school in Caledon and a nearby Walmart were evacuated due to a police investigation. The Ontario Provincial Police have released few details about the investigation so far, but they are also urging people to avoid Bramalea Road and the Mayfield Road area. Parents are being directed to pick up their children from James Grieve Public School by entering the area from the north via Old School Road. Several area roads have been closed. An increased police presence is expected, with people being asked to avoid passing through or visiting the area until further notice. The main reason for the evacuation remains unknown at this time.
