The Board of Directors of East Toronto School apologizes after a four-year-old student returned home alone during lunchtime earlier this week.
The child's mother told CTV News Toronto that she was sitting with her husband in the living room on Monday around 1:15 PM.
When we opened the door, "we found him in front of us and felt somewhat confused. At that moment, we thought maybe the teacher was accompanying him home."
The child explained that he was walking alone on a 10-minute trip home from Glengrove Public School.
