Iran-backed Houthi rebels attacked a commercial ship heading to Iran in the Red Sea, the US military said in the early hours of Tuesday.
Iran-backed Houthi gunmen fired two missiles at the Greek-owned ship "MV Star Aries" at around 0330 local time (0030 GMT) on Monday, according to the US Central Command on X, formerly Twitter.
The US Central Command said the Marshall Islands-flagged cargo ship, which was crossing the Red Sea carrying corn from Brazil, sustained minor damage but reported no casualties and remained seaworthy.
