The Hebrew site "Ynet" said today, Friday, that the initial results of the Israeli occupation army's investigation into the killing of Al Jazeera correspondent Shireen Abu Akleh are inconclusive.
The site added, quoting the army, that the investigation raised two possibilities: one is that Abu Akleh was hit by heavy gunfire from Palestinians towards Israeli military vehicles, and the second is that an Israeli soldier who was returning fire from a jeep towards an armed person accidentally hit her.
The army did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
