An abandoned vehicle caused a forest fire on Monday. The Huntsville Lake of Bays Fire Department responded to a remote area off Williamsport Road for a fire.
Firefighters say the fire has not been fully extinguished and has spread in the forest near Little Long Lake, making it difficult to control.
Fire officials remind people in the area that there is currently a daytime burning ban and campfires must always be extinguished.
