The extremist Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir led the invasion of settlers into the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque this morning, Thursday, under heavy guard from the occupation police.

The Palestinian news agency "Wafa" reported that dozens of settlers, led by the extremist Ben Gvir, invaded the Al-Aqsa Mosque in groups, marking what they call the alleged "destruction of the temple," from the direction of the Mughrabi Gate, and performed racist Talmudic rituals in its courtyards.

Since dawn, thousands of settlers have stormed the Buraq Square and carried out provocative tours in the alleys of the old city of Jerusalem, while hundreds gathered in front of the Mughrabi Gate before the invasion of Al-Aqsa, responding to a call from settlement associations to carry out mass invasions of Al-Aqsa.

In the late hours of the night and dawn of Thursday, groups of settlers performed Talmudic rituals in the old city, and at one of the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque, while dozens of settlers from a group called "Returning to the Temple Mount" spent the night at the entrance of the Mughrabi Gate to carry out the mass invasions of Al-Aqsa.

The occupation police deployed special unit personnel in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa to provide protection for the invaders, as well as to keep Palestinians away from the path of the invasions.

The Al-Aqsa Mosque is subjected to daily invasions by settlers except on Fridays and Saturdays, through groups and during two time slots, morning and evening, under the protection of the occupation authorities, in an occupation attempt to impose temporal and spatial division in the courtyards of the first Qibla of Muslims.

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned the invasion of the Israeli Minister of Security into the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, with the participation of extremists from his followers.

The ministry considered, in a press statement, that this invasion is an official Israeli cover for the ongoing invasions and for what the Al-Aqsa Mosque is subjected to in terms of Judaization schemes and the imposition of coercive changes on its existing historical and legal status, as an integral part of the process of Judaizing Jerusalem and altering its identity and emptying it of its original inhabitants.

The Palestinian Foreign Ministry held Benjamin Netanyahu fully and directly responsible for this provocative invasion, calling for urgent international intervention to protect Jerusalem and its sanctities, primarily Al-Aqsa Mosque, and for the U.S. administration to translate its positions into actions that compel the occupying state to stop its illegal unilateral measures.

The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs also expressed the Kingdom's condemnation and denunciation of the invasion, confirming in a statement today, according to the Saudi news agency "SPA," that these systematic practices constitute a blatant violation of all international norms and treaties, and provoke the feelings of Muslims around the world.

The ministry held the Israeli occupying forces fully responsible for the repercussions of the continuation of these violations, emphasizing its demand for the international community to assume its responsibilities to end the escalation of the Israeli occupation, provide the necessary protection for civilians, and make all efforts to end this conflict.

Egypt condemned in a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs the storming of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the Israeli authorities' prevention of Muslim worshipers from exercising their legitimate right to enter it and worship there.

Egypt stressed that the successive invasions of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and attempts to divide it temporally and spatially will not affect its existing legal and historical status, which recognizes that Al-Aqsa is a purely Islamic endowment and a place of worship for Muslims.

Egypt called on Israel to immediately stop these provocative and escalatory actions, which only serve to inflame feelings and increase the prevailing tension in the occupied territories, warning of the serious consequences of such irresponsible practices on security and stability in the region.

The Arab Parliament also strongly condemned the large-scale invasion of Israeli settlers into the Al-Aqsa Mosque under the protection of occupation forces.

The Arab Parliament warned that the continued invasions by settlers and ministers of the occupying government of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and attempts to divide it temporally and spatially, constitute a provocation to the feelings of more than two billion Muslims representing a quarter of the world's population, which is unacceptable and threatens to escalate the situation in Jerusalem and the Palestinian territories into further tension and drag the region into a religious war.

The Arab Parliament confirmed its rejection of attempts to undermine the existing historical and legal status of the Islamic and Christian holy places in Jerusalem and attempts to Judaize them, and to undermine the freedom of Muslim prayers there, as it contradicts international law and United Nations resolutions.

The Arab Parliament called on the international community and the Security Council to fulfill their responsibilities to stop these provocative actions, work to provide international protection for the Palestinian people and their religious sanctities, halt blatant violations by the occupying power, and push forward the ongoing situation and advance a just and comprehensive peace process in the Middle East, affirming its steadfast position supporting the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital according to the two-state solution and international legitimacy resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.
