Today, Sunday, an Egyptian police officer killed two Israeli tourists and their Egyptian guide after firing randomly during the presence of an Israeli tourist group in the city of Alexandria in the north of the country, according to what was reported by the semi-official Egyptian channel "Extra News" citing a security source, a statement confirmed by the Israeli Foreign Ministry.

In this context, the semi-official Egyptian channel "Extra News" reported on its account on the X platform, citing a security source that "one of the police officers assigned to secure the Manshiyya area (downtown) in Alexandria opened fire randomly during the presence of an Israeli tourist group at a tourist site."

The attack coincides with an unprecedented military operation launched by Hamas since Saturday against the occupation, involving the firing of thousands of rockets and incursions by its fighters, resulting in hundreds of deaths and thousands of injuries on both sides.
