Dr. Islam Anan, Professor of Epidemiology, said that the "X" virus is a hypothetical virus and epidemic, and there is currently no epidemic by this name. The purpose of the existence of "X" is to have a health policy to predict the occurrence of any epidemic in the future, indicating that the pace at which epidemics occur in the future will be faster.

Islam Anan explained that there are problems with the climate, and as temperatures increase, the pace of problems and the spread of epidemics also increases. He pointed out that it was expected that epidemic "x" would occur before the Coronavirus epidemic, yet there was no implementation of mechanisms to deal with "Coronavirus".

The Professor of Epidemiology added that we in the world have become accustomed to epidemics spreading in conflict areas as happened in Africa, confirming that with conflict there is a spread of cholera and food poisoning, which has now started spreading in Gaza. He stressed that conflict areas rarely result in the spread of zoonotic epidemics.
