The Turkish Ministry of Defense announced in a statement that the Turkish Air Force plans to carry out four missions to transport humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, under the direction of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
The ministry added, "We have begun loading the humanitarian aid prepared under the instructions of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan onto the Turkish Air Force's military transport aircraft."
The ministry also pointed out that the Turkish aid mainly includes medical supplies and medicines.
The ministry continued in its statement, "As soon as our aircraft are ready, they will fly to Egypt. Four flights have been planned to deliver humanitarian supplies to the region."
