Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced today, Sunday, the arrest of 17 members of the ISIS organization in Adana province, southern Turkey.
Yerlikaya stated in a post on his social media accounts that the anti-terrorism teams raided 23 locations in the province, during which they arrested 17 individuals belonging to ISIS, according to the Anadolu Agency.
He explained that 5 of them were imprisoned pending investigation, while a decision was made to release the other 12 under judicial supervision.
He noted that hand grenades and various weapons were seized during the searches of the raided sites.
