The Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi discussed with the Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad Al-Maliki, in New York, the developments in Gaza and the Palestinian territories, and ways to intensify targeted efforts to launch an immediate and effective international action to stop the war on Gaza, ensure the protection of civilians, and continue the flow of humanitarian food and medical aid to the sector.
The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Jordan began a working visit to New York on Monday, to participate in the open session of the Security Council on the Middle East, especially the Palestinian issue.
Safadi is conducting a series of meetings with several of his counterparts and international officials participating in the session's activities.
