Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud said that if a nuclear agreement with Iran is not reached, the region will enter a very dangerous and complex phase for everyone.

Faisal bin Farhan added on the sidelines of the Global Policy Conference in Abu Dhabi that it would be difficult to predict what would happen if Iran had a nuclear weapon ready to use, as Arab Gulf countries would move to secure their safety, according to his expression, adding: "We are in a very dangerous position in the region.. You can expect that the countries of the region will definitely study how to ensure their security."

Also, US National Security Council Coordinator for Middle East and North Africa Brett McGurk revealed that his country's forces have detected and deterred what he described as imminent threats from Iran against Saudi Arabia.

The website "Politico" also quoted a US Department of Defense official as saying that Iran is planning to launch an attack on Saudi Arabia, most likely targeting the kingdom’s energy infrastructure.

And Mikhail Bogdanov, Deputy Russian Foreign Minister, confirmed his country's readiness to play the role of mediator between Saudi Arabia and Iran, saying that his country supports resolving the misunderstanding between them within the framework of constructive dialogue.

The spokesperson for the National Security Committee in the Iranian Parliament, Abu al-Fadl Amoui, also said that dialogue with Saudi Arabia has reached the stage of restoring diplomatic relations.
