The Saudi Crown Prince and the Turkish President discuss ways of cooperation between the two countries

Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz discussed with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in all fields, the latest developments in regional and international situations, and the efforts made towards them.

According to the Saudi Press Agency "SPA," the two sides witnessed a memorandum of understanding for cooperation between the governments of Saudi Arabia and Turkey in the field of energy, signed on the Saudi side by the Minister of Energy, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, and on the Turkish side by the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Alparslan Bayraktar. A memorandum of understanding was also signed for cooperation in direct investment, signed on the Saudi side by the Minister of Investment, Engineer Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, and on the Turkish side by the Head of the Investment Office, Ahmet Burak Dağlıoğlu.

A memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the media field was also signed, signed on the Saudi side by the Minister of Media, Salman bin Youssef Al-Dosari, and on the Turkish side by the Communications Director, Fahrettin Altun. The two sides also signed two contracts with the Turkish company (Baykar), signed on the Saudi side by the Assistant Minister of Defense for Executive Affairs, Dr. Khalid bin Hussein Al-Biyari, and on the Turkish side by the CEO of (Baykar), Lotfi Khaluk Bayraktar.

The Saudi Crown Prince received the Turkish President at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah, where official reception ceremonies were held for him.

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived in Jeddah on Monday evening on an official visit, marking the beginning of a Gulf tour that includes Qatar and the UAE.

Erdogan was received at King Abdulaziz International Airport by Prince Badr bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Emir of Makkah Region, and Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah.
