An American fighter jet of the (F-16) model crashed into the waters off the west coast of South Korea today, Wednesday, and a pilot was rescued after being pulled out of the plane, according to Yonhap News Agency citing multiple sources.
The agency quoted informed sources saying that the fighter jet fell into the waters near Gunsan / 274 km south of Seoul/ at around 08:40 AM local time.
Gunsan is home to Kunsan Air Base of the US Air Force, which operates (F-16) fighter jets.
The sources said that the fighter jet crashed into the waters and the pilot was rescued safely.
