The Canadian Food Inspection Agency announced the recall of the Taisun brand (Vegetarian Mushroom Jerky Hot) because it may contain undeclared milk on the label.
The product distributed by Uncle T Food was sold in 169-gram packages in British Columbia, Alberta, and Ontario.
There have been no incidents related to the product so far.
However, people with milk allergies are advised not to consume the product.
Customers are either to dispose of the product or return it to the store where it was purchased.
The Food Agency states that more products may be recalled pending further investigation.
