In an exciting and one-sided match, Spain crushed Costa Rica with seven clean goals in the match held between them today as part of the 2022 World Cup tournament, hosted for the first time by an Arab country.

With a seven-goal victory, the Spanish national team overwhelmed their Costa Rican opponent, within the competitions of Group E in the 2022 World Cup, on Wednesday evening.

The Spanish "Matador" achieved a 7-0 victory over Costa Rica, in a match successfully officiated by Emirati referee Mohammed Abdullah, at Al Thumama Stadium in Doha.

With this, Spain recorded its biggest result in the history of the World Cup tournaments, which other countries had previously recorded, the last being Portugal against North Korea in the 2010 World Cup.

The young Spanish national team presented an "amazing" football display, with Dani Olmo, Marco Asensio, Ferran Torres, Gavi, Carlos Soler, and Álvaro Morata alternating in scoring.

The fans pointed out that the stars relied upon by coach Luis Enrique in his lineup include several who are "ostracized" in their clubs.

At the top of these are Marco Asensio of Real Madrid, Ferran Torres of Barcelona, and Dani Olmo of German Leipzig, who form the main attacking trio.

Spain topped the group after the first round, ahead on goal difference from Japan, which shocked the world by earlier defeating Germany.
