Canadian Pacific Railway has announced job vacancies, as it is hiring employees in several locations across Ontario with no diploma required to apply for the job.
Currently, jobs are available in places such as Schreiber, London, Thunder Bay, Sudbury, Chapleau, and Kenora.
Employees will also be required to work irregular hours, use train movement signals, move equipment, and supervise car switching.
Upon appointment, you will be provided with 16 weeks of training for up to $211.76 per day, and after passing the tests, you will be ready to start working.
Qualified individuals also earn $85,000 in their first year, and according to the CP website, the average salary is $107,000 with the potential to earn up to $140,000 per year.
The agency also offers a competitive benefits package, a pension plan, and tuition reimbursement. New employees can also receive a signing bonus of $5,000.
Basic requirements include a high school diploma or general equivalency diploma, three to five years of work experience, good communication skills, a driver's license, and a Canadian passport.
