Hebrew media reported today, Saturday, that the Israeli War Council will not meet tonight, which prevents the negotiating delegation from leaving for Qatar before Monday.
Channel 13 attributed the Israeli negotiating delegation's failure to travel to Doha to unsuccessful attempts to reach Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to hold the planned meeting on Saturday evening.
The channel pointed out that the ministers are angry over their failed attempt to reach Netanyahu to set a meeting date.
Senior officials in the Israeli negotiating delegation strongly criticized Netanyahu, saying he is "wasting time," according to Channel 13.
Earlier on Saturday, Israeli media reported that Mossad chief David Barnea will leave for Doha on Sunday at the head of the Israeli negotiating team to push for the hostage release deal.
The ministers are expected to meet tomorrow; in the meantime, no date has been set for the hearing session.
