Paris Saint-Germain hosts its counterpart Nice this evening, Friday, in the fifth round of the French league for the current season 2023-2024, after the resumption of League 1 matches, following the international break.
The match between Paris Saint-Germain and Nice will take place at the "Parc des Princes" stadium at 10 PM Cairo time tonight.
Paris Saint-Germain is in second place in the French league standings, with 8 points, two points behind the leaders Monaco.
Meanwhile, Nice is in eighth place with 6 points, collected from 4 matches with 1 win and 3 draws, without a loss.
Paris Saint-Germain, led by Luis Enrique, stumbled at the start of their Ligue 1 campaign by drawing 0-0 with Lorient, then drew 1-1 with Toulouse, before winning against Lens 3-0, and then crushing Olympique Lyon 4-1.
The Parisian club is seeking victory in this match to enhance its points total and continue defending its title for the third consecutive season.
On the other hand, Nice hopes to perform well and try to seize the victory to secure all points and continue staying in the safe zones and move forward.
The expected lineup of Paris Saint-Germain against Nice is as follows:
Goalkeeper: Gianluigi Donnarumma.
Defense: Lucas Hernandez, Danilo, Layvin Kurzawa, Achraf Hakimi.
Midfield: Marco Verratti, Renato Sanchez, Warren Zaïre-Emery, Manuel Ugarte.
Attack: Kylian Mbappé, Marco Asensio.
