Another snowstorm is expected to hit Nova Scotia this week.
The Canadian Ministry of Environment has issued a winter storm warning across the province, with the weather agency confirming that the storm will pass south of Nova Scotia late Tuesday into early Wednesday.
Snowfall is expected to range between 15 and 30 cm by Wednesday noon, along with wind storms reaching up to 70 km/h.
According to warnings from the Canadian Environment site, "Currently, the highest amounts of snowfall are expected along the Atlantic coast, and any new snow from this system has the potential to merge with enhanced north wind gusts to reduce visibility during snowfall."
As with all NOR'EASTERS, small changes in the storm's path can lead to major changes in snowfall forecasts."
Parts of northeastern mainland Nova Scotia and northern Cape Breton are also likely to experience a period of winds and snowstorms.
Environment Canada explained that those areas may continue to see snow accumulation until Thursday night.
