Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said on Tuesday that the greater the destructive power of the Western weapons received by Kyiv, the closer the chances of a "nuclear apocalypse day" also become.
Medvedev, who is also the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, considered that "Kyiv’s claims that it has no connection to the attacks inside Russia are mere lies," according to what was reported by the "RIA Novosti" agency.
Medvedev was referring here to the incursion of what Russia described as a "sabotage group" into the Russian city of Belgorod on Monday, which prompted Russian authorities to evacuate residents of nine towns adjacent to Ukraine.
