The Toronto Transit Commission announced that subway service has been resumed on Line 1 after nearly half of the line was closed due to a signal issue during the early morning rush hour today, Thursday.
The problem began just before 6 a.m.
The Toronto Transit Commission stated that there was no subway service between Vaughan and St. Andrew stations due to a signal issue, and shuttle buses were operating between Vaughan Metropolitan Centre and St. George station to replace the regular service. Service was then resumed with significant delays.
The Toronto Transit Commission said just before 7:30 a.m. that service had been resumed on the line with "minor delays."
