The young Syrian woman Lama Zakaria achieved a record and entered the Guinness World Records after successfully drawing the largest mandala circle painting in a very distinctive way.
The artist indicated that she planned her distinctive artwork for about two years, and her painting took about 5 months of actual work at a rate of 6 hours of daily work.
The young artist managed to draw 4096 mandala circles of various diameters, colors, and diverse decorations, the largest with a diameter of two meters and the smallest with a diameter of 2 cm, on 8 MDF wood panels to assemble them together with an area of approximately 25 square meters.
Lama worked on completing her masterpiece in her small studio in the Syrian town of Deir Atiyah, using acrylic colors to draw individual, non-repetitive circles that are different from each other.
